The inqaba biotec group of companies has close to 150 employees in sub-Saharan Africa with offices in South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana and Tanzania. In 2022, we are opening branch offices in Cameroon, Senegal and Uganda. inqaba biotec is a truly African life science company.

inqaba biotec had six staff members in 2002. After 20 years, 4 of them, namely Melvin, Vani, Margaret and  Oliver (from left to right on the picture) are still dynamically  involved with the company. Our executive director Dr Oliver Preisig is the longest serving employee and director as he started his work on 1st April 2002.

Starting with an idea conceived in 2000, the makings of inqaba biotec as a commercial entity slowly began to take shape around this time 20 years ago.
